Apple TV

Q: AppleTV was paired with keyboard but now will not do it

My keyboard (mod-A1314) was paired with the AppleTV, I did not use it for a couple of month and now it won't  pair anymore. The Bluetooth function just shows the spinning sprocket turning but never stops. I changed batteries in the keyboard but to no avail.

What can I do to make it work?

verify the keyboard still works by connecting to another device, if the device is working then reset the Apple TV and update the device software
