Aug 29, 2016 10:36 AM in response to DBraun07by KiltedTim,You will need a USB C to USB adapter to be able to plug it in and set it up the first time. You may as well go ahead and buy one as you'll be needing it for any USB devices you're likely to find in the immediate future.

Aug 29, 2016 10:39 AM in response to DBraun07by Demo,You can't. You have to set up WiFi syncing by going through iTunes while connected to the computer via the USB cable.
I'm not familiar with the newest MacBooks, but don't all of them have at least one USB port?
EDIT. Just saw KiltedTim's response.

Aug 29, 2016 10:41 AM in response to DBraun07by computerjedi,Use AirDrop. All you need to do is make sure both your devices are connected to WiFi and you can share things. If you need to know how to use AirDrop go here How to use AirDrop with your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch - Apple Support
