Unfortunately, it did NOT work for me. However, what I can do is edit photos on my desktop, then find the edited version on my iPhone 6, then send them from the phone. I have no idea why I started to get the message, nor why I can no longer edit or save edited photos on the phone. Very frustrating!

This is a very serious problem and if Apple chooses to ignore it and the only solution it is switch "upload photos to iCloud" off, then iCloud is pretty much useless and maybe we should all cancel iCloud subscriptions?

    What an incredibly stupid error!

Take a photo. It no longer exists on your phone. I go to edit it - require wifi or Internet data, then I go to save it and the incompetent iCloud software is unable to save the photo. I've had numerous iCloud copies become "corrupt" losing GB of HD footage required for work.

there is no solution, you have to search it yourself. I went to do the solution listed, however it says all photos and videos will be removed from my iPhone (2148 files) however I only have 1200 photos and videos on my iPhone. Where are these other files I could potentially lose?

Far better to lose the iCloud and just get a 2016 smart phone that has expandable +120gb storage for literally $60.

You need to clear space on your phone i just had the same problem and i deleted all my text message (they take up the most storage) and some photos and now it is working fine.
