Q: i mac begins to load then goes to white screen what can I do
When I turn on my I mac it makes the dong noise, the apple comes on and the bar starts to move very slowly and then it goes to white screen and it tells me I am not connected to internet. I reconnect every time but it still stays on white screen,

shut down
disconnect all external devices except mouse and keyboard
reboot and reset PRAM

then boot into safe mode
Try safe mode if your Mac doesn't finish starting up - Apple Support
then restart normally
then shut down and reconnect your decvices
if this process does not work you may need to boot into recovery mode and reinstall the OS.
