Q: NO WIFI
Hi, I'm having problem with my old macbook aluminium unibody late 2008 model (el capitan), there's no way to find the 'WIFI' icon on status bar, also when I open 'system report' and scroll down to 'Wifi' this what the info shows:
Then when I go to 'system preferences' > 'network' there's no WIFI option to choose from..
Is my airport card damage? or is there a way to reinstall airport driver for my macbook late 2008 model running el capitan? I hope someone could help me..thank you in advance...
MacBook, OS X El Capitan (10.11.3)

No, I meant if the Wi-Fi hardware is functioning. Wi-Fi and BT are usually on a single card, but the fact that BT is working may not mean Wi-Fi should also be working. Try installing the El Capitan combo updater and see if it fixes the problem. Sometimes this is simply an OS X installation problem or failure. Reinstalling may fix it. If not then you'll need to take it in for repair.
