Q: photos slideshows

When you look at the quicktime inspector, does it say it has an audio track or not.

Then since there is no option to omit audio in the export options I can only assume that the audio is missing prior to choosing to export or there is something about the audio that won't let you use it. Exactly how are you adding audio and where is the audio you are adding.

Mmmm, mp3 is a bit old hat and I haven't used them for years, give me a moment to see if that's the issue.

No, that's not it, I created a slideshow export myself with an mp3 file.

What bitrate is the file, where did you get it from, where is it kept on your computer.

Then I'm really not sure. It plays the audio when you play the slideshow in photos I take it before you export, I take it.

What happens if you choose another track or even the inbuilt theme music.
