    Hello mac-koy.

Thank you for using the Apple Support Communities. I see from your post you’re having issues accessing your Wi-Fi network. Thanks for all of the information provided. We’d like to start by attempting to reset your MacBook’s SMC. Once this is completed, boot normally and check for Wi-Fi as a service option in System Settings as you shared in your post. Should it not be available, let’s try to add it in OS X.

Reset the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac

Manage the Wi-Fi connection on your Mac

    Cheers.

Thank you so much for the quick response, how can I add it to the OS X?

I've done reseting the SMC but sad to say Wi-Fi option is still not available from the lists..When I check 'Network Diagnostics' the 'Wifi' was grey-out and can't be selected..

When I check 'Network Setup Assistant' to select the method to use to connect to the internet, the option 'I use Airport to connect to the internet wirelessly' was also greyed and can't be selected..
