Aug 29, 2016 10:35 PM in response to LarryHNby Tahhec,I have this problem as well, the funny thing is that I´ve had it since I bought my macbook last summer. I´ve never bought iPhoto, yet it´s been on my hard drive the whole time. It seems like iPhoto was intended to be bundled with my Macbook, but Apple removed it from Appstore before I bought it. Do you think i should just give up, or is there a solution out there?

Aug 29, 2016 10:53 PM in response to Tahhecby Terence Devlin,If you bought a MacBook last summer then the replacement for iPhoto - Photos.app - should be on it.

Aug 29, 2016 11:45 PM in response to Terence Devlinby Tahhec,Yes, Photos is indeed bundled on my MB and I really enjoy it. The thing is that iPhoto is on the hard drive as well. I´m not that eager to actually install iPhoto, I really just want to get rid of the update notification I get in Appstore regarding iPhoto.

Aug 30, 2016 1:12 AM in response to Terence Devlinby Manferno,I think that might be best! I can't open it without it prompting me to download the app and if you try to do that the app isn't there. To be honest the most annoying this is what Tahhec said, I just want to get rid of the update notification.
Thanks Terence.
