Q: Where are my Pages?

My husband recently updated his older MAC to El Capitan.  He usually uses a Microsoft for MAC word processing program, but now he needs some of the functions of Pages (like export to ePub).  He cannot find Pages in his applications.  Would he have automatically gotten it when he updated to El Capitan?

Thanks, Marilyn

    HI,

Pages must be purchased from the App Store.

    No.

Pages only comes pre installed on new Macs.

It will be expensive for him to buy the iWork Apps from the App Store, but he can buy iWork '09 from Amazon quite cheaply (which is the better version anyway).

Once he has iWork '09 installed on his Mac, make sure he updates it to v4.3 and he can then "upgrade" that to the latest iWork Apps at no charge.
