Q: had to change password; cannot add music to playlist; cannot burn music to disk.

trouble with iTunes.  cannot add my songs to playlist. cannot burn music to disk; Message (wait 90 days to download purchases). another message received (not authorized;  I unauthorized and reauthorized). Didn't help.

I have 2 iPads, 1 touch iPod and iPhone, so I need iTunes to sync. I would love a different music player.

MacBook Pro, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.2)

    Hi,

The problems you are describing may be due to outdated software.

Make sure iTunes and OS X are up to date.

On your open the App Store then select Updates from the menu.

On your iOS devices, tap Settings > General > Software Update

Thanks to Carolyn Samit for answering question; none of the buttons were working to let you know that all software is updated and am using 'El 'Capitan (which is probably the problem) been having trouble ever since. I downloaded a new El

Capitan, to no avail. So any other suggestions would be appreciated.

    Again, thanks
