Q: Siri no longer dials my partner

Prior this recent update I had no issue at all calling my partner using siri. It would record her name correctly in text and dial her correctly. It was basically 100% accurate and convenient. But now it records her name in text correctly every time but will show a list of almost right choices but not include hers at all. If I get my young daughter to try it she gets an even bigger incorect list. This used to work for her. This is of particular issue to me because I want her to be able to reliably call her mum from my phone. Especially in case of emergency. There is no change to her contact record and she is still top of the list of favourites.

In your daughter's iPhone Contacts app,

make sure your wife & daughter contact info is in the Contacts

and in your daughter contact info use Add related name

example mum ..... and choose your wife contact info.

So using Siri on your daughter iPhone will be

    Call Mum

    Thanks for your reply.

Just to clarify, in regards to my daughter it is her being able to dial her mum with my phone using Siri which used to work well. I have checked my partners contact information and is correct and the same as it used to be. We are listed as each others partner in each others contacts. She is also favourited at the top of the phone favourit list (vip). If, when I get the list of possibilities from Siri, I click "Other", then find and click her name and number it dials. Nothing looks out of the ordinary. it's just easier and quicker now to not use Siri and just unlock the phone and open the phone app and select her from there. Except it's a lot of work compared to when Siri worked for her contact; and unrealistic for my child at this time. Incidentally it seems to work fine for other common Siri dial requests I make. Any other suggestions?
