Q: Apple gift card trouble redeeming it ?

I bought a Apple Store gift card some months ago and it said it was the wrong code and the store where I got it said it was approved so couldn't do nothing anybody know how I can redeem it ?

iPhone 6 Plus, iOS 8.1.3

What type of card is it ? If an iTunes or App Store gift card you can redeem it onto your iTunes account : Redeem iTunes and Apple Music Gift Cards and codes - Apple Support

If it's an Apple Store gift card it can't be used with iTunes, it can only be used in Apple stores and their online store
