Mac OS XIf it's an iPod touch and you forgot your passcode
For other (media player) iPods that have the "screen lock" feature, connecting it to the computer that syncs it will unlock it. Otherwise, you can do a Restore on the iPod using iTunes (which erases it) and then set it up again.
