Im trying to restore my daughters ipad but shes changed to username and password and I can't get access to it. I have erased it but its now activation locked
If it's Activation Locked then only the person who set the lock can unlock it. There is no way round that. Your daughter will have to unlock it, or if she's forgotten her ID or password go through the process to recover them.

Thanks Roger, unfortunately, my daughter is in a situation where she cannot do this anymore. I'll take it to apple store and see if they can help. Cheers
