Q: iMessage +86 Country Code

I am getting many time daily spam emails that have a phone number that starts with +86...(China).   I've tried making the number a contact and blocking all messages, but of course, they continually change the rest of the number.  Is it possible to set up a more global rule that will block all these messages, at least at the country code level?

Thanks,

Bob

    Hi,

Do you mean emails or Spam iMessages ?

Block phone numbers and contacts or filter messages on your iPhone, iPad or iPod Touch - Apple Support

It deals with reporting them as well.

Yeah, well, I should read my messages a third time before I hit send...

It is.  I do use the delete/report as spam function, but I am bombarded with 8 to 10 a day of these messages--all with different permutations of the 10 digit phone number.  I would think they are used a rng to generate the numbers, so I am looking for a way to stop them completely before I have to block the 600K combination (assuming they do not change the 86 of the +86) or if they do not, the billion or so.

So, if there any way to block a pattern like this?

    Hi,

It is not something that I have come across before and I would not know where to start other than the spam page.

Thank you for trying.  Today, of all days, they suddenly stopped.  I wonder if reporting enough of them as junk (about 40 of them) garnered some attention.
