Q: AirPort base station not seen or "An unexpected error occurred" appears in AirPort Utility 6.3 - It did the above steps and cannot get airport utility to allow access to the Airport extreme in order to reconfigure please help

I tried following the article's instructions by going into System Preferences / Network and changing the configure ipv6 tab to Link local only and I STILL am getting the same error. Can someone please advise how to get this ariport extreme back online and configured

OS X Mavericks (10.9.1)

Thanks Bob Timmons. It worked. I used my iPad Airport Utility app to make a second extension (TC - Express - Extreme) and it worked flawlessly.
