Q: Windows 10 doesn't recognize my iPod Shuffle

When I plug in my Shuffle, the light comes on, but Windows 10 doesn't recognize it

Immediately after connecting the shuffle to the computer's USB, does the light blink (orange) or is it solid (steady and not blinking)?

Which iPod shuffle model do you have? There are four types (generations), as shown in this document
