Q: Showing photos across multiple devices

I am looking to review ,consolidate & delete some of the many photos currently only showing on my iphone.

I am thinking it may be easier to do this on my much larger ipad screen.

is it possible to adjust the settings so that i can show all my historic iphone photos on my ipad ?

if so will amendments show across multiple devices ?

Sorry for dumb question !

Enable iCloud photo library on each device and wait for things to finish. This will merge the photos into one library which will be the same on both devices, subsequent changes on one device will occur on both.

Simple - that is exactly what iCloud Photo Library does  --  iCloud Photo Library - Apple Support   --  It consolidates all libraries across all devices so all changes made anywhere  (additions, deletions or edits) are made everyplace and all devices have complete access to all photos - for devices with limited storage you set optimized photos so they will fit

How many photos are there on your iPhone?

You have 5GB of free iCloud storage, that is also used for the device backups, Mail, Contacts, etc. If you have thousands of photos you may need to sign up for more iCloud storage, if you want to sync all your photos to all devices.
