Q: MacBook hard dropped on floor - battery and WiFi issues??
I accidentally dropped a heavy hard wooden board with the Mac retina early '13 on it (primitive wooden lapdesk, very heavy and three times longer than the Mac) on the floor, so the Mac was hit REALLY hard. And have had problems with the battery since. The mac is noisy now (I guess because of the fans). And it gets very hot fast. The battery lasts for 1.5 hours of movies and that's all. It could last for about 7 hours before.
After that I stupidly left the Mac in my baggage for a plane ride, it got thrown around probably and now Wifi doesn't work and I need a replacement..
What do you think I can do, and how much would that cost me? I hope these mistakes won't forever kill my laptop. Thank you.
MacBook Pro with Retina display, OS X El Capitan (10.11.2), macbook, drop, issues, wifi
