Q: Mac air 13in mid 2013 turns off automatically when magsafe is unplugged.
I have problem with my macbook air mid 2013 13in. It turns off right away when I unplug the magsafe. Before this started to happen, there were some other symptoms, the battery didn't get charged well and when it worked well without charger, still it turned off randomly sometimes while unplugged. Such kind of symptoms continued for a while and now it completely doesn't work without magsafe. I tried smc reset but it didn't work.
I posted some pictures below which shows my battery status the menu bar says that it is fully charged but on the battery information it says it is not charged at all. The charger is connected according to the last picture but it says it's not charging. I think the charger is fine because when I tried different charger but the same thing still happens. Do you guys have any idea?
MacBook Air, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5), null

Based on your description and that the SMC reset did not correct the problem suggests a hardware problem. Make an appointment at an Apple store genius bar for a FREE evaluation.
Ciao.
