Q: Cannot access a pages document from icloud after windows update

After a recent update to iCloud on my Windows 10 PC, I have been unable to open one of my Pages documents from iCloud.  I see the file on my computer (iCloud Windows drive), on iCloud.com/#Pages, and on my other Apple devices, but I can't open or download it.  The Pages app on my apple devices indicate a file is updating but after 2 days, it hasn't completed updating.  I do not see the file on the iCloud.com/#iClouddrive, and I do not see it on the list of files to restore.  If I try to access it from iCloud.com/#pages, the error message is generic, indicating that 'something' went wrong and to try again later.

Where did this file go?  Anyone know how can I access it?

For Windows 10, you will need a minimum of iCloud 5.2 for Windows installed. Check your version, as that may be an issue.

My experience with Windows 10 so far is that the Anniversary update has destroyed one previously working Windows 10 system (VirtualBox 5.1.4), and simply won't update a real PC running Windows 10, due to an installer script error.

For Windows 10, you will need version 5.2 of Apple's iCloud for Windows. Update it if your version is older. There is no assurance that even v5.2 will be compatible with the Windows 10 Anniversary update.

Thank you both!  I was updating to the 5.2 software when I tried to access that file.  I think that might have been the problem.  The file was showing up everywhere except in the iCloud Drive on the web.  I ended up changing the file name of it and that refreshed the drive, syncing it across all devices.  I can now open it!
