Q: iPhone 4 cannot restore from iTunes
I am trying to restore an iPhone 4 from iTunes but I have forgotten the passcode. But when I try to restore it, it asks to turn off Find My iPhone, but I can't do that as I've forgot the passcode. I want to restore it from an iCloud backup and I do not want to reset to factory settings as there is a lot of app data I want to keep. It is not connected to the Internet in any way, as there is no way for me to connect it to WiFi without knowing the passcode, and I have no valid SIM cards that fit in it. Therefore I can't remove it from iCloud.com or any other device. I tried to disable it by intentionally entering the wrong passcode multiple times but that made my computer not recognise my phone at all. I somehow made the phone no longer disabled by making it run out of battery. The Apple ID has been transferred from my account to my son's account (we have Family Sharing) some time ago and all backups are in the iCloud and no spares on my computer.
Is their anyway to backup the phone onto my computer without entering the passcode, so I can erase the phone through other methods and than restore it with the backup on the computer? Thank You in advance.
Phone: iPhone 4 running ios 7.1.2
Computer: Toshiba Satellite C75 running Windows 10 (Not latest but
Computer software: iTunes 12.4.3.1

There is no way to back up the phone now. It's too late once the phone has been disabled. You may be able to erase the phone by forcing it into recovery mode.
This explains how to do it.
