Q: QuickTime app locations?

Where can I find the QuickTime app to download onto my iPad mini? I cannot find it in the AppStore, just 3rd party players for $.

iPad Mini, iOS 9.3.5

Unfortunately neither VLC nor any other player in the App store will work for that.

The AT&T website is expecting the Quicktime Browser plugin to playback the audio.

There is no way yo add that to Safari on an iPad since it does not support plugins or extensions.

It should technically just attempt to playback the audio file, but it may not work if it cannot find the browser plugin / extension.

There is no QuickTime developed by Apple for iOS.

OK, I guess I'll have to buy an app then.

But I thought QuickTime was a proprietary Apple app? No?

Quicktime is made by Apple yes, but there is no Quicktime app for iPad because its not necessary.

Any formats Quicktime can play, the iPad can already play natively.

What exactly do you need Quicktime for on an iPad?

You do not need to buy an App. There are literally hundreds of free video players in the store.

VLC is free, and can play pretty much any video format out there.

I was outside with my iPad mini and got a message that I had missed a phone call on my landline. I use AT&T U-Verse.

The message said I could listen to my message using my mini and to log into my ATT account. Logged in and when I pressed "Play" I got this message: https://www.dropbox.com/s/zz5ts8s0kbh47vb/Screenshot%202016-08-31%2010.50.42.png ?dl=0.
