Will work. You'll need at least an iPhone 5.

The Apple watch does not have different versions for different regions, unlike the iPhone. Since there is no cellular radio in the watch, it is not dependent on things like different LTE bands used in different countries.

    It should be fine.

    Hi

You will be able to use the watch in Australia.

There are no regional differences in hardware and the software can be configured for your chosen region.

If your parents also plan on buying AppleCare+ for your watch, note that this must be purchased in Australia in order for the benefits to be available to you there.

The plan can be bought in Australia for a watch that was purchased in the US, as long as you do so within 60 days of the watch's original purchase date and subject to the watch meeting Apple's requirements at the time of purchasing the plan.

    You can purchase AppleCare+:

If AppleCare+ is instead bought in the US, the plan's benefits will not be available to you in Australia.
