Q: The iSight camera is not working on my 21.5" iMac
I have a mid-2010 - 21.5" iMac running 10.10.5 with 16GB of memory. All of a sudden my iSight camera stopped working. The light next to it is a constant green. What can I do to get it back up & running?
I just ran a 'System Report and it is showing that there is no camera found.
iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.5), null

Hey Ronald,
Having a working webcam is very important I use mine frequently so I would not be happy if mine was not working.
Some things you can try are:
- Restarting the computer
- Reset the System Management Controller (SMC) on your Mac
- How to Reset NVRAM on your Mac
- Test in a new user ( OS X Mountain Lion: Create a new user account )
If none of those steps resolve the issue, the computer will need to be looked at by a service provider.
I'm sure one of those steps will resolve the issue.
Cheers.
