Q: Calendar greying out Decline/Maybe/Accept invites

This is a calendar / Exchange question. Using Yosemite 1010.5 with latest security updates. Trying to work with an Exchange calendar through Office365.

Not sure when this started, but calendar invites started coming into my Apple Mail with the Decline/Maybe/Accept buttons, but they are "inactive". Clicking on them does nothing. Have tried with the "automatic accept invites" on and off in Mail preferences. Makes no difference.

Default calendar set to the Exchange calendar, but there's also an iCloud calendar and Yahoo calendar.

I notice that on Office365 webmail, the invite get ghosted onto the calendar, so are being recognized on the Office365 server.  So, there's something in the translation to Apple Calendar.

Searching online I'm only finding a workaround to view the raw source and pull out the .ics file to the desktop and double-clicking. This does add the item to the calendar, but there's no way to change the "state". It's not in an "accepted state".  Was hoping there's an actual fix or explanation.

Using Outlook not an option due to the iCloud calendar requirement.
