Sep 1, 2016 3:33 PM in response to katjafromkölnby dktm5,Updated to 9.3.5 with no change. Touch ID fails, cannot be set up. Battery life at 50% or less with an immediate change coinciding with the update to 9.3.4 and failure of touch ID. Tried restarting, resetting and restoring from backup, resetting and setting up as new.
Touch ID I could live without... the massive reduction in battery performance is a real bummer. Very frustrating.

Sep 5, 2016 6:55 AM in response to dktm5by Opt1mvs,Exactly same problem here, Touch ID not working at all and battery life greatly diminished right after update. At the very least Apple should look into the matter, see if they can confirm the bug and so on...

Sep 8, 2016 3:27 PM in response to woodstok1979by Marckieh,IIt's actually an absurd after all this time Apple hasn't solved or even identified the problem.

Sep 8, 2016 3:30 PM in response to Marckiehby mtraps,So after 5 times calling in and getting the same answer "It seems its a hardware issue and you are out of warranty, so it will cost blah blah blah", I finally got them to replace it free of charge. Be persistant people, it isn't right that an update can screw us out of a phone.

Sep 11, 2016 7:41 AM in response to woodstok1979by MonishB,Hello ALL,
Same problem with my Iphone 6, My TouchID password option stopped working, post the iOS 9.3 update. This option has been grayed out after IOS update. Simultaneously battery also draining fast , only 4hrs of backup after charging.
Went to apple service centre they told me that touch ID stopped working and it is a hardware issue and it is not repairable. Option are either i have to use this phone with same condition or exchange with apple with extra 23000.
Please guys help me if you get any solution on this..

Sep 11, 2016 8:01 AM in response to iklimchukby MonishB,I went to repair centre, they said that it is not repairable. Either I have to sell it or use it with same condition. Or exchange with Apple for 23000rs more...This is not a solution.
I am seriously planning to move to Android, Really frustrating response from Apple...
Awaiting for new updates...!!!!

Sep 12, 2016 2:38 PM in response to woodstok1979by gsoul8105,Same issue for me, no Touch ID and suffering with massive battery drain.
Been to the Apple Store twice, no joy. Apparently it's a hardware issue for
the Touch ID and the battery is fine. Nothing to do with the recent update.
Yeah, of course it isn't. New update available tomorrow, if that doesn't fix
the issues, then it's a new Samsung for me.

Sep 12, 2016 2:57 PM in response to MonishBby o_alienista,Same problem here! I really don't believe it is a hardware problem, because it started after the update.
No touch ID and, my IPAD air 2 battery drains in 3 hours, even if the iPad is in airplane mode.
The Ipad gets SO F*CKING HOT that i can feel it in may backpack.
WHATS GOING ON? The device was perfect few days ago.
Called apple and they want to replace my iPad, but i'll have to pay 450 dollars here in Brasil.
Im so happy
