Aug 31, 2016 8:01 PM in response to Shane Rossby Tom Baker1,Thanks Shane. I was afraid I might be trying to do too much inside of a single project, by duplicating such a large sequence (two hours long) and it might overload FCP 6 and crash it.
I see I accidentally posted this question twice, but I don't see how to delete the second one. I didn't realize it had posted the first time. I was still composing the question, and I left the computer for a while without posting, and got automatically signed out. Auto-posted while I was gone? I don't get it. Oh well.
Thanks for the help!
Tom

Sep 1, 2016 8:31 AM in response to Tom Baker1by Shane Ross,Then duplicate the project, and give the new project a different name...like "CUT DOWN" And then make changes in that one.
But really, I used FCP mainly for longform docs...started on the 2 hour ones. As long as the project is under 100MB, you should be good to go.
