Q: My spotlight search bar is not working

I am trying to look for adobe flash documents on my computer. When I type search in spotlight it is not finding all the files.

iMac (27-inch, Late 2013)

    Please open system preferences and click on spotlight application . In search results check all options  , and out side   the window , there is an option allow spotlight suggestions in spotlight .

    please check the box.

     

    Also , open safari preferences and select search , verify  that all options are checked .
