Q: automator - File to folder with Today'sDate

I have an automated program that runs at startup and generates a folder: Downloads|<Today'sDate>. I now seek to deposit all files downloaded on that date to be filed in that folder.

Looking for any help, I've been trying to figure this out unsuccessfully for a few days now.

Automator, OS X Mountain Lion (10.8.5)

Safari/Preferences/General - set File download location.

The issue can be seen here. The newest folder with today's date is added but the files that are downloaded today just go into downloads. Having to manually set the download folder to point to today's date defeats the point of this automation.

But offers another route: Can an automation be written to forward safari downloads to newest folder at startup?
