Q: Deleted apps in iTunes still remian in the folder - please help
Hello
I use iTunes (v12.4.3.1) on my Windows 10 PC.
When I go into my app library, right-click and select 'delete', the app is removed from iTunes, but when I look in Windows explorer at the iTunes > iTunes Music > Mobile Applications folder, the file still remains there??
This is frustrating as its taking up a huge amount of HDD space - when I delete an app I would like all traces of it to go as well.
I am sure I recall in that older iTunes versions, a pop-up-box appeared asking if you also want to delete the file.
Where is this option in this version of iTunes?
Thanks
iPhone 6, iOS 9.3.5

Use Edit > Preferences > Advanced > Reset warnings. This should mean you get a dialog asking what you want to do next time you delete an unwanted app.
See CleanDeadApps for a script that can tidy up any apps in the Mobile Applications folder that are no longer connected to your library.
