Does the money you paid show in your purchases file?

Have you any other evidence that the money has actually been paid to Apple.

I've got the SMS about this purchase.

Actually I tried to make this purchase twice from my iphone. After entering my debit card information - nothing happened. Only when I logged in to iTunes and entered the same info there - I've got a message that $1 was paid for icloud.

In my purchase history there is no info about it, only free apps I've downloaded.

I assume that maybe it takes some time to perform this operation from the bank side, because the purchase was done in US dollars and my card uses the Ukrainian currency (UAH). Maybe the conversion process is too slow.

If this was the first purchase you have made, the $1 was probably a test amount that will never actually be taken.   Was there a note on the bottom of the SMS asking you to report a problem?   If so, report this as your problem and someone will be in touch.

Thanks, you are right. I made the another attempt to buy the iCloud storage and succeded. Though I received 2 SMS: one is again about 1 dollar payment, and the second is about $0.99 which is likely to be the actual payment for iCloud. Curious why they take the extra dollar before every transaction.. But we'll see - maybe the money will be returned. Anyway, thanks for help!

    Hello annado 16

Happy to read you have made some progress; thank you for the solved star.

For general advice, these documents cover current Storage charges and Unrecognised charges.

I am curious why they made two seemingly authorisation holds; one is usually enough to establish the account but as it is a minimal amount, I am sure you can wait for their explanation.
