Q: Photo Walls
Okay, so—normally Apple is beyond capable, but in the "Screensaver" section of the new Apple TV, they took out the "Photo Wall" setting, presumably because people just used it for babies, birthdays & weddings. I just replaced that plebeian crap with actual works of fine art. The effect is that of an art display/exhibit that never ends.
You can't do this now, & I think it was profoundly idiotic & short-sighted. Anyways, here's what I mean:
Photo Wall Instructions:
On Apple TV,
1. Find the images you want digitally. (Make sure you have the largest size possible. Just doing one posted on a web site—this is what I learned the hard way, & which I noticed once I saw that the painting was blurry, because it had to be expanded. Oh, & also—when you click "Save Image," it goes to your Camera Roll on whatever device you're using—like iPhone or iPad.)
2. Under "Photos," go to the "Shared" folder, & create a new one by clicking "+," & title it.
3. Click the "+" again to add photos.
4. Go to "Camera Roll" to find the ones you want to add. Select the photos that go in that folder.
5. The new folder is finished, with the selected photos selected & pasted into it.
6. Go to Settings>>Screensaver>>(scroll down to) Photo Wall.
7. On the same page, under Preview, the folder with the particular Photo Wa!ll should be shown. Click Preview. Enjoy.
◦ I want the technique of combining art via Photo Wall & the desired Photo Wall in order to achieve the desired effect—I want that to be my legacy. This absolutely cannot die with me.
