Had a 6th gen 32GB iTouch for a year now, all has been working fine. For some reason, about a week ago, the Podcast app tried to download a whole bunch of MeatEater podcasts, something I had never heard of. It then changed one I subscribe to, *** with Marc Maron, to MeatEater. I can find Maron on the Itunes store, it all looks fine, I click subscribe (after clicking unsubscribe and restarting the iTouch) and then it downloads MeatEater again.
And it is getting worse. I also subscribed to Marathon Talk. The system has now unsubsribed me from that. So I went to resubscribe and I was able to download the latest episode, but it has stuck the MeatEater logo as the podcast, and it is listed as being released in 2001?!?
I haven't added any news apps or anything in the past few weeks, no changes I am aware of to my system apart from an Apple update, but that was about 48 hours ago, after this started happening.
Does anyone have any idea what is going on here?
