Q: how to keep mailboxes consistent between icloud mail  and oxs mail

Is there a way to have other mailboxes synced across all apple devices. This is possible with Trash, Drafts, and Junk mailboxes but it is possible to do this with mailboxes that have been created in oxs. Also, can messages  filed in various mailboxes in mail on a mac be exported to an IOS device? If so, how?

iMac, OS X Yosemite (10.10.3)

    Hi,

It's not necessary to export data. iCloud syncs data via a Wi-Fi network across devices.

On your Mac open System Preferences > iCloud then make sure Mail is selected.

On your iOS devices tap Settings > iCloud then make sure Mail is toggled ON.

I have done that and mail is syncing correctly. In coming mail is duplicated on all devices. Deletions occur on all devices.  However, if I sort a message  into a folder on the Mac, it is not sorted into a similarly named folder on the Ipad. I want to have the same folders on the Ipad as I have on the Mac. First question: do I need to create each folder manually on the Ipad or can I export what is aleady set up on the Mac to the Ipad?  Second question: once this done (if it can be done) how do you ensure that a message placed in a folder on the Mac will have the same message placed into a folder on the Ipad, or will I have to go to the Ipad and move  each message manually into the matching folder as is on the Mac. Will Icloud sync ALL folders not just the few already set up by Apple across all devices?

    That feature currently doesn't exist.

Send Apple feedback. They won't answer, but at least will know there is a problem or a suggestion for improvement. If enough people send feedback, it may get the problem/suggested change solved sooner.
