Q: iMac, adjust red balance.

I can adjust the white balance of the monitor, but i need to reduce the Red channel.  I don't mean adjusting photos, I mean the overall colour balance of the monitor.

    Thanks for the quick reply.  This is the kind of option I would have expected and was looking for, but as I go through the Calibration Assistant the flow is:

         Welcome - Continue

         White point - Continue

         Admin options - Continue

         Name the profile - Continue

         Conclusion - Done.

     

    There is no option anywhere for advanced settings.  Unless I'm being a bit dim and missing what you mean!

    I'm an admin, but I don't have the Expert mode option.  Or some of the steps listed on the left.  ??

    But, this did point me to googling the expert mode, and it's only visible if you hold down the option key when you click Calibrate.

     

    I know this is a different topic, but is there any way to make sure all these additional options are always shown?

    I've just gone through the setup steps, and while I can fine tune the "Native luminescence" on five levels, there isn't a way to calm down a single channel without affecting others.  This is a really odd setup.  I don't think I've ever bought a monitor that hasn't allowed me to do this.  How very strange!
