    Hi migmac,

Triple click works fine here. If I lock the table the format menu is replaced by the arrange menu is that what you see? Otherwise I cannot replicate your issue.

I'm having the same issue too.

Before I upgraded my iOS and to Number 3.6.2, I was able to number the tables.

I'm using Numbers as my bookkeeping tool where:

    * each sheet is an expense category - with a catalogue number say 300.00 Marketing

    * each table within the sheet is the type of expenses - with catalogue number say 300.10 Facebook; 300.20 Postcards etc

and I record the catalogue number on the receipts when bookkeeping is done.

So with Numbers 3.6.2, it appears I no longer able to do this!

I am able to double click a Table name to edit is in Number 3.6.2.  I suggest rebooting your computer to see if that helps.

Also, try creating a new Numbers document and see if you can edit a table name in the new document.  IF you can, I suggest copying the data from the problem document to the new document.

Please check out this thread where I suggest looking at the System double click speed:

To edit a cell, Numbers Help says to double-click the cell
