Mac OS X
Q: Macbook Air does not power up anymore
The Air does not power up when press the power button. Plugged the power cord to the Air and no lights on the side shows up either. The power cord and charger is working fine. I use a non-contact detector and it does show there are power running through the cable. I before I bring it to the Apple store for fixing, what other things I should I try?

You can try resetting the SMC :
- Shut down the Mac.
- Plug in the MagSafe or USB-C power adapter to a power source and to your Mac.
- Using the built-in keyboard, press Shift-Control-Option on the left side of the keyboard, then press the power button at the same time.
- Release all keys, then press the power button again to turn on your Mac.
