Q: 2015 Forester and iPhone 5c - latest iOS

I've begun having issues with my Bluetooth.

I used to have an iPhone 6 but went to a 5c when it got run over. I don't remember having these issues with the 6 and I'm on the latest iOS version on the 5c.

Connectivity is interrupted when on a call. Sometimes I get the "Please Check Audio System" in the display on my Subaru. I don't get this when I'm streaming Pandora. Also, when I'm charging the phone with the "cigarette lighter" charger, the phone gets very hot.

Has anyone else had these issues and is there a fix?

It looks as if your iPhone 5c on iOS 9.3.5 can do everything expected when connected by bluetooth to your 2015 Subaru Forester except when on a call. I'll be glad to help.
