Q: Removing closed locations from Apple Maps

Hello

 

Is there any way to completely remove locations that have closed from Apple Maps? We have clients that have asked this question. Since their locations have closed, they no longer want them on the map

    If you need to report a problem in Maps

    You can report the following problems:

    • Incorrect labels on Maps
    • Missing location
    • Incorrect search results
    • Wrong directions
    • Incorrect Transit info

    On your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch

    To report a problem, follow these steps:

    1. Tap , in the lower-right corner.
    2. Tap Report a Problem.
    3. Choose the issue and follow the onscreen instructions.

    To check on a reported issue on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch, go to Settings > Maps > Follow up by Email. Maps uses your default contact.

    On your Mac

    To report a problem on your Mac, follow these steps:

    1. In the toolbar, click Maps > Report an Issue.
    2. Choose the issue and follow the onscreen instructions.
    3. To check on a reported issue on your Mac, go to Maps > Email Preferences. Maps uses your default contact.
    4. If you're a business owner and want to correct the information in Maps about one of your locations, sign in to Maps Connect. Learn more about how to use Maps on your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch.
