Q: iTunes Not Updating Feed

I've been using Soundcloud to host my podcasts for about a month and have had no issues. Everything is updating fine on my iTunes podcast channel as well. However, when I posted my latest podcast last night (episode 197) it has yet to update on my iTunes feed. It's appearing fine on Soundcloud AS WELL in iTunes app for subscribers.

Is anyone else having issues with iTunes being slow at updating the feed? I even went as far as going to my podcast on Podcasts Connect and refreshed the feed. It shows it was just refreshed but still not showing up. This definitely sounds like an iTunes deal as the feed is working fine. The feed, and the iTunes application, show episodes 190 to 197. Episode 197 has not yet appeared in the Store: this is quite normal. It was posted only six hours ago; new episodes usually take 1-2 days to appear though you can be lucky and have an episode appear more quickly.

When you add a new episode to your feed and upload it, it appears immediately for subscribers because their iTunes application reads the feed directly and the Store is not involved. However because of the huge number of podcasts in the Store (thousands) the Store caches the feed and checks it for updates periodically. You should check your feed by subscribing, either from the Store page or manually from the 'Advanced' menu in iTunes, to see that your new episodes are there. If not, then you have an error of some sort (such as a duplicated 'guid' tag). If all your episodes appear when subscribing then the Store should catch up after a bit.

Episode 197 should appear in the Store in a day or so.

Ok that is what I thought. Nothing appears to be wrong, just slow updating. Thanks for your help! If I don't see it within next day I will reach out on this message again.
