Q: Why won't logic record my vocals in Stereo?
Hi there,
I have been having trouble with getting logic to record stereo vocals.
In this project file, I have the input set to both 1-2 (so both L and R tracks) but, when I sing, only the Left
track reads an audio signal. What's odd is that when I unplug my mic from my external audio interface (scarlett 2i2)
and plug it into the interface's second plug hole, the audio signal then switches to the right side.
So I'm guessing the problems with the audio interface itself?
I would really appreciate any insight into the matter and please
let me know if you need me to further clarify any details for you to be able to help me out.
Thanks for letting me know!

The Rode NT1-A (http://www.rode.com/microphones/nt1-a) only has a single capsule and one polar pattern (Cardioid). It is physically impossible, just with this single mic, to record stereo or surround anything.
If it was the NT4 http://www.rode.com/microphones/nt4 it'd be a different story…..
