Hi there, Zeyda! Thanks for using Apple Support Communities.

I understand that your iPhone is getting the error "unable to download" when trying to download apps from the App Store. I'll be glad to help!

Apple Services, Stores, and iCloud -- This is the first thing I check. If the service is "green", then the issue isn't with the Apple servers.

The next thing to do is sign out of the App Store, restart your iPhone, then log back in and try again:

    1. Sign out by tapping the App Store app

    2. Scroll to the bottom of the screen, tap your Apple ID and choose "Sign Out" (you'll be asked for your password to confirm your intentions)

    3. Hold the Sleep/Wake (power) button until you see "slide to power off"

    4. Turn your iPhone back on once it's shut down completely

    5. Tap the App Store app, scroll to the bottom and sign in again

    6. Download a free app to see the issue persists

Onward and upward by any means!

Hey, I tried to do what you told me and it didn't work sadly, but I did check and the service is green. So if it's not Apple then what is it? And now my downloading apps is really slow and crashing along with other downloaded apps, idek what to do. Please help if you know what I should do, thanks.

Sorry to hear that didn't work for you, Zeyda. I have more steps for you to complete.

How to back up your iPhone, iPad, and iPod touch -- Since the next step will completely clear everything from your iPhone, please back up to protect your data.

Use iTunes on your Mac or PC to restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod to factory settings -- Follow the directions in this article to clear your phone so you can install a fresh, clean copy of the iOS.

When you're asked, select "Set up as a new iPhone", and sign into iTunes & App Store. Once your phone returns to the home screen, try the download you've been having issues with. If you're still experiencing the issue, let me know. If everything is working as it should again, proceed to the next step.

Restore your iPhone, iPad, or iPod touch from a backup - Select the method you used to back up your iPhone previously to return your personal data.

    Take care!

In what country are you physically located?

What country's AppStore are you attempting to use?

What country is your AppleID from?

    Which VPN are you using?
