    Yes

Set up Time Capsule #2 as a target for Time Machine backups from iMac #2.

A note of caution though.......unless you have changed the name of the drives on the Time Capsules, each one of them is named "Data", so you will need to be careful to choose the correct disk from the list of Available Disks in Time Machine Preferences when  you set up iMac #2 for backups.

Thanks, But I'm at a loss.  When I open AirPort Utility on my second mac the only thing I see is the Internet icon.  I do not see either Time Capsule.

    Any ideas?

Power off the entire network.....all devices....modem, Time Capsules, computers, printers, etc.....in any order that you want.

    Wait a minute

Power up the modem and let it run a few minutes by itself

Power up the next device connected to the modem...(which might be one Time Capsule).... and let it run a full minute

Power up the next device and let it run a full minute

Keep powering up devices one at a time about a minute apart until the entire network is back up

    Check the network

If both Time Capsules still do not appear on your Mac, then we'll have to check some settings on the Mac and possibly reconfigure the extending Time Capsule again.

That being said, you would not use AirPort Utility to set up backups to the second Time Capsule once it is visible in AirPort Utility.  Time Machine Preferences would be used to set up backups to the second Time Capsule.
