Q: Bluetooth randomly stopped working?

Hi all, I have a mid-2014 Retina MacBook Pro. Today, my bluetooth just quit working. I cannot connect any device to my Mac using bluetooth. Every time I try, the device will connect but will then disconnect after ~20 seconds. I have tried the following:

-reset SMC and PRAM

-cycle bluetooth on and off

-reset the bluetooth module

-remove all bluetooth devices

-delete bluetooth plist files

-turn off "handoff" in system preferences

-turn bluetooth devices on and off

-update OS

-restart computer

None of these things have helped the situation - it remains exactly the same. I ran Apple Diagnostics and no bluetooth hardware issues were reported. I'm completely out of ideas but I need this fixed. I just don't understand how it can be working perfectly fine one day and then just stop.

Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated!
