Q: Bluetooth beats headphones not connecting

Hi there

I got a 2012 macbook pro with Yosemite installed and I have my beats headphones connected with bluetooth. Often in the morning I cannot reconnect them. I tried to remove them from the paired devices in the bluetooth setting. But when I turn bluetooth off and on again, they show up again. Restarting does not help either. The only way I could so far to get them to connect again is to delete /Library/Preferences/com.apple.Bluetooth.plist and then restart. After that I can pair them again. After two or three days, it starts all over again and I have the same problem again. This is really annoying! anyone knows a way to permanently fix that problem?

Thanks for you answer Carolyn. Unfortunately this does not solve my problem. First of all, I cannot remove any bluetooth devices if bluetooth is turned off. If bluetooth is turned on and I remove the beats, I cannot pair them again. If I turn bluetooth off, after I have removed the beats, and turn it on again, the beats show up again like I had not removed them and I can still not connect them.
