Q: I don't have the Airplay icon in the menu bar and want to view slideshow on Apple TV

The Airplay icon does not appear in the menu bar and I would like to view a slideshow on my Apple TV. Is there an App to download or software to add to my Mac?

iMac, OS X El Capitan (10.11.6)

Mirroring requires a Mac from 2011 or later. The alternative is to use a 3rd party program like Airparrot. Results vary so use the trial first.

TThe best way to see a slideshow is to use the Apple TV slideshow tools with your photos from the Mac via Homesharing in the 'Computers' app.
