Q: parental control

Does anyone know how to allow children under parental control settings to install apps without authentication?

I want to keep the parental control function but at the same time allow children to install apps when required at school.

Many thanks in advance.

Well, if you are talking about the Parental Controls that are provided when you set up a User, then under Parental Controls>Stores, you would not check the "Disable" iTunes Store option. I just tried it on one of my Managed accounts, and I was able to download and install an app from the App Store. Of course, they would have to have an Apple ID and a password to do this, and they would have to put in their password in order to download and install.

Is that what you are looking to do?

    Cheers,
