Sep 2, 2016 9:12 PM in response to boutitdogby ChrisJ4203,If you are connected to iTunes and the device is still asking for a password, then you were not successful in getting the device into Recovery or DFU. Try again. It may take more than one attempt.

Sep 2, 2016 9:19 PM in response to boutitdogby ChrisJ4203,Well, if you are for sure in DFU mode, and you are not seeing the ability to restore in iTunes, are you sure you have the latest version of iTunes? If you do, then there is something wrong with the connection. You are going to have to try to get into Recovery mode to see if you can get a connection to iTunes.
And why did you title this password? Are you getting asked for a password? Forgotten a password? Trying to set a password?
