HI eveyone,
recently i have contaced apple support but nothing suggested has worked, the problem was sent to engineers but still nothing has worked. The problem is as follows:
initially the Mac would freeze during login, it would get 3/4 way through the progress bar then freeze. After changing things I managed to log in successfully but it would freeze just after logging in.
Now I have noticed that it only freezes once the mouse (trackpad) stops moving. I can keep moving it and the laptop works perfect. Once stopped it freezes seconds later. In safe mode the laptop works fine also and the brightness can still be changed when it's freezed.
i Have tried almost everything including erasing the hard drive and reinstalling OS X. I've ran disk utility countless times, nothing seems to work except keeping the mouse moving. The next step they have suggested is taking it in for a service which will cost many £££.
i Have a 13" MacBook Pro mid 2014.
